I do see it as common sense when the voters tell their city council to stop the spending.
No the deal made sense. The voters rejected it on the basis that we need to stop the spending. They only read/anaylized half the question.
It was not a straight forward request.
I suspect if it had been done as two questions, the move to the market would have won. I susgested to our corp counsel that it should be two questions early on.
I don't understand how the deal made sense. We were asked to spend more money for less space. Not to mention the extra operating costs the would go with renting additional space to make up for the square footage that was lost in the transition. I think the voters in Portland got one right...finally!
