More of the illegal use of power by our insidious government

CATO is suing the SEC because CATO wants to publish a book by a defendant who was charged with a civil complaint by the SEC and the SEC forbids the airing of any information regarding the charge. True, the defendant did plead guilty to save himself from life sentence in prison and going bankrupt (a standard government tactic) and he signed an agreement to shut up about it for the same reasons. No matter what happened in the case...when your government can prosecute the sh#t out of you on, in this case, phony crap and force you to a guilty plea and then forbid you from giving your side of the story...we have totalitarianism.

CATO vs SEC

Yah, the SEC really goes

Yah, the SEC really goes overboard with its prosecutions, as we saw in the wake of the crash. I’m sure this guy was a victim of guv abuses.
